Amir Heydarinami studied law and obtained his doctorate in Hamburg, focusing on media law. He completed his legal traineeship with placements in Beijing and Berlin. During his studies, he worked at a university chair for media law and at the Hans Bredow Institute. While pursuing his doctorate, he collected experience at the international law firms DLA Piper, Dentons, and Bird & Bird, in the fields of intellectual property, media, and data protection law.
From 2019 onwards, he practiced as an attorney at the IP boutique Lubberger Lehment in Berlin. During this time, he regularly represented well-known brand manufacturers, particularly in the luxury sector, in contentious proceedings, including landmark cases. In recent years, his practice increasingly shifted toward strategic advisory work, leading numerous legal projects for companies. From 2023 to 2025, he was a partner at wolves rechtsanwälte. He subsequently founded the law firm nami.legal.
In 2024, the Berlin Bar Association granted him the title of Certified Specialist Lawyer for Information Technology Law (Fachanwalt für IT-Recht). He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and the Bayreuth Working Group for Information Technology – New Media (@kit).
